The Mission
Relentless Forward Motion
The wind blows where it wants, unimpeded by people, places, or things. If something stands in the way, the wind finds it’s way around. Humanity needs to adapt and grow, so we can learn to run like the wind.
The world is headed for a climate crisis: CO2 levels in the atmosphere are at unprecedented highs and will continue to spiral out of control, glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, severe weather and wildfire danger is commonplace, and over the past few years, small strides have been made, but very little has changed. I have witnessed all this with my very own eyes. We are at a point where this affects our day to day life.
In my travels, I have seen the awesome power of nature. Canyons carved by tiny rivers, mountains moved by erosion of ice and snow, the great destruction from geothermal activity, and beyond. One thing people get wrong about climate change is that somehow, the world is in danger. This is untrue. The Earth will be just fine no matter what we do, however, we humans may not be able to live on it.
In order to survive, we must learn to run like wind.
Push Now For Renewable Solutions
I am personally investing in renewable energy solutions. Currently I am exploring options to purchase small-scale (1-5 acre) properties with high wind and solar power potential. The first property will be a pilot program with careful management and plans for rapid expansion, once the idea proves to be viable. Donations will hopefully support these efforts.
Advocate For Environmental Justice
The loudest voice unfortunately gets the most attention. A potential climate crisis that is 20 years away doesn’t seem all that urgent given society’s day to day problems. The public and policymakers need to be aware of and convinced the looming crisis is of the utmost importance and requires action today.
Help Others To Run Like Wind
This is not a solo endeavor. It is going to take a major attitude change in order to solve the looming climate crisis. Humans of all nations, races, genders, and religions only have one world to live on. We need to work together to save it. Community outreach and making others feel that they can make an impact, counts in the fight for life.
